I need to stop being surprised that this tiny banjo sounds so good at the low (gdgbd) tuning. It has been many years and many banjos, but it is still a delight for me to play. The main wood is some curly Maple from the Carpenter Ant stash in Portland and the rest is Pistachio from California orchards. It has an 8” block rim, a 17” scale and is strung with our custom non-steel strings. It is loud, sweet and surprisingly deep sounding.
