I love Cherry for banjos, as it cuts the brightness of maple a bit, but is more present than Walnut. It is a nice middle ground for a balanced sound. The rim and neck are made from curly Cherry from the Carpenter Ant stash in Portland. The rest is Pistachio from California orchards. It has a goat skin head, arm rest and K&K pickup. Thanks Mari!
