This banjo is for Nancy, a repeat ukulele customer who is now learning the banjo. She chose a short scale instrument with non-steel strings, which I think is a good choice for a ukulele player. The main wood is simple Walnut from Vashon Island, which gives a warm and round sound. The other wood is Pistachio from California Orchards, with a windmill inlay on the headstock. It has no tone ring and a brass arm rest for comfort. Thanks Nancy!
