This is a stock instrument that has been in the works for many months. It is a simple instrument with all Oregon woods, little decoration, easy playability and great sound. I find it crisp and loud, but with a dark sustain. The top is Western Red Cedar, salvaged from some wall boards. The back and sides are grafted Walnut from an old orchard at Zena Forest Products. The neck is some local Hemlock and the fingerboard is local Walnut. It is available here for $1900 with a hardshell case. I can add a pickup or low g string for additional cost.
