I had a long banjo gig this last weekend, so I am in a banjo frame of mind. Once my hands adjust to the smaller size, I am always pleased and surprised by the tone and volume that these little banjos produce. I like that Cherry has a dusty sweetness to it, compared to Walnut or Maple. This one has the open G tuning with non steel strings and an arm rest added for comfort. The Cherry neck/rim and the Dogwood fretboard/headplate all come from the Carpenter Ant stash in Portland. Thanks for the order, Jim!
