#1010- Redwood and Walnut Tenor Guitar

Not every flame needs to be a bonfire, sometimes all you need is a candle. This guitar, like a perfectly placed candle, is subtle but effective. The Redwood top gives a present but dusty voice and the Walnut back and sides diffuse the sound to the room. I love the simple Fir neck and Pistachio fretboard to complete the color pallet. It has steel strings, K&K pickup and Gotoh banjo tuners. The Redwood was salvaged from a driftwood log, the Walnut is from our friend Cath on Vashon Island, the Fir is a scrap from a cabinet maker and the Pistachio is from California orchards. Shine on friends, at whatever brightness you can manage.
